" I'm from dat 9, and you ain't takin mine". At a first rally, on the last Sunday of February, local residents and homeowners made it clear they intend to rebuild their neighborhood. Most of them have been there all their lives; some, for generations. They will not wait for an authorization, or help, from the city. They've done it twice before, and will do it again.
